Chicken in Balsamic Vinegar

Ingredients:

  • Chicken

  • Butter

  • Red onion

  • Oregano

  • French tomatoes

  • Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI

  • Basil

Procedure:

  • Set a large pan over medium heat, then add 2 tablespoons of butter and 1/4 cup red onion sautéed add the chicken. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, until the bottom of the chicken is golden.

  • Flip the chicken and keep cooking until almost done, another 2 to 3 minutes. When you’re about 1 to 11⁄2 minutes out from the chicken being done, add 1/2 tsp oregano and 1/2 cup French tomatoes sautéed 1 minute or 2.

  • Then add 1/2 cup balsamic and 1/4 tsp basil. and finish with a big pinch of salt and black pepper

  • Cook until the sauce has thickened, flipping to the sauce reduces.

  • Transfer all the chicken to a plate and serve.
