Caprese with Balsamic Vinegar for Modena PGI and Lime Juice

Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI • Lime Juice

Procedure

Stir Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI and honey together in a small saucepan and place over high heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer until mixture has reduced to 1/3 cup, about 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.

Arrange alternating slices of tomato, mozzarella and basil decoratively on a serving platter. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper, and drizzle with lime juice and the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI reduction.
